Y3 Looking Back and Forth 24/10/19

Friday 24th October 2019 – Looking Back & Forth in Year 3

Looking back:

We have had a great time this week, enjoying rehearsing and performing for the Exhibition and have worked hard to develop our addition and subtraction. The children were extremely happy with their time in the Exhibition and no doubt will enjoy showing their friends and family around. The Farrier experience was really interesting and something completely new! Our Chef experience was also incredibly interesting and tasty! We learned so much about how to run a successful business that completely takes care of our environment and our tummies! Thank you Chef Andy!!

Year 3 – Pupils’ Highlights:

  • Looking around and taking part in the Exhibition.
  • Having a go on the water feature.
  • Watching the horse shoes being made.
  • Tasting the yummy fruit jelly and ice-cream!!!
  • Performing for our mums, dads and grandparents!

Family discussion questions:

Ask your children…

  • What does a Farrier do?
  • What can you make plates out of?
  • What did you find out by looking around the Exhibition?

Looking forward:

Next Half Terms plans to be a busy and exciting one! We have women inventors to find out about, Dance Sessions planned, Art and Computing skills to develop and of course working towards our Christmas performance in the Church!

Thank you for all your support so far this year and I hope you enjoy your Half Term Break!
