Friday 12th July 2019 – Looking Back & Forth in Year 4
Friday 12th July 2019 – Looking Back & Forth in Year 4
Looking back:
This week the children have been immersed in the discovery of Tutankhamun’s tomb. They have been very impressive with the knowledge that they have learnt and how they have appiled it to new questions.. They then used this knowledge to recreate Howard Carter’s diary. In Maths, we have been looking at 2d and 3d shapes. We thought about the tetrahedron activity they completed in Year 1. In the afternoons, we had a great afternoon pond dipping and found lots of critters! We also delved in Tutankhamun’s tomb and admired his treasures.
Thank you so much for the wonderful projects – they have brightened up the classroom no end. The children can’t wait to show them to parents on Tuesday 23rd July.
