Y2 Friday 12th July 2024 – Looking Back & Forth
Looking back: This week we have published our writing, compared the weather in Goostrey and Clanwilliam and designed and made model castles.
Year 2 – Pupils’ Highlights:
- I have enjoyed everything this week!
- I liked playtime because we played nicely.
- I liked playtime because I enjoyed building with Lego.
- I liked PE because I have found out how to do skipping. X3
- I liked working in the museum
- I liked doing the jumbled-up spellings.
- I liked football and everyone joining in x2

Next week will be our last week together. Please discuss how children are feeling about making the transition to Year 3. Do let me know if they have any questions or concerns.
Looking forward:
Next week is the last week of the school year. We will be looking back on our time together in Year 2 and looking forward to Year 3
PE is on Friday. Please ensure school PE kit is worn.
Reading books will be collected on Monday. Please make sure book are in school. Thank you.
Well done to the 3 children that completed the Reading Challenge again this week. Thank you for all your support with reading at home and completing reading diaries this year -it really does make a difference to children’s reading.
