Looking Back and Forth 18th October 2019
Friday 18th October 2019 – Looking Back & Forth in Year 3
Looking back:
We have had an incredibly busy week this week, preparing for the Exhibition and for our first chance to shine as children of Year Three! We have been, writing, singing, painting, drawing, publishing…you name it, we’ve done it! We have worked very hard to produce our very best work and are looking forward to next week very much!
Year 3 – Pupils’ Highlights:
- I have loved everything this week!
- I have loved publishing my work onto posh paper.
- Gizmobots was great fun too!
- I really enjoyed painting our wheel!
- Art has been very enjoyable.
- We were very interested to see what had happened in our Science experiment.
Family discussion questions:
Ask your children…
- What is sediment?
- What are Catseyes?
- Who was George Stephenson and why is he famous?
Looking forward:
Next week, we have another exciting week as we welcome friends, parents and other family members into our school to share in our Exhibition. We will be enjoying the displays ourselves as we are invited to enjoy the space too on Wednesday morning!
We will be taking part in a whole school performance as we open the Exhibition on Wednesday at 2pm and our Year Three performance will take place on Thursday at 3:15pm.
We hope you enjoy sharing our work with us. We would like to thank all of the parent and grandparent helpers who have very kindly given their time this week to lend a hand with the preparations for the big days next week and we would like them to know how much their help is appreciated.
A quick addition to our info this week: if you have children in the Infants and would like to watch the Y3 performance tomorrow (Thursday) afternoon, please do collect your younger child/ren a little earlier and join us in the Juniors by 3:15pm.
Many thanks,
Mrs Sant
