Reception - week ending 2nd March 2018

This week I have introduced the Underground theme to the children.

We have started with Dinosaurs this week and each child wrote a description of their own dinosaur. They also painted their "fantasy" dinosaur and these are now on display in the class.

We have been focusing on addition this week. We used dice to make addition sums which we recorded in our maths books.

We had a super World Book afternoon on Thursday. In Year 1 they looked at St David's day and had a story related to this, in Reception I did Handa's Surprise and we made up actions for all 8 fruits in the story (ask them about Mango) and in Year 2 they had to guess the story with clues from lots of clues.
