Reception class news week ending 31st January

Hello all

Another busy week under our belts. We heard the story of Little Red who is not like other little girls and is not at all scared of the wolf as we discover at the end of the story. Our story writing task over the next week is to complete their action plan on "How to catch a wolf!" 

Our sense this week was smell and they had a variety of smells to try out and then recored which was their favorite and which was not. 

We learnt about Chinese New Year and they each colored in a dragon which they have brought home today Friday. They heard the story of the Chinese calendar from Mrs Walker who came in to tell them on Wednesday.

In their bags today is the Book Faire wishlist and a letter from the school nurse about the hearing and sight test they had this morning (Friday).
