Reception class update Friday 18th September

Hello all

We have been very busy practicing the song for you next week. Performances are on Wednesday and Thursday on the junior playground at 2:30pm. You may then take your children straight from the playground if you are watching. I will leave their school bags in class for you to collect.

This week we have been working on number recognition and counting objects accurately. In phonics we are mastering our tricky words and using them in silly sentences. 

This morning, Friday, we had the bikes out and then the children went to PE at 10am. 

In music this week they all had a chance on different percussion instruments and playing along to different pieces of music, mostly ABBA.

We all went for an explore of the woods before buddy time. 

Please can you check cardigans and jumpers as a few have gone missing this week.
