Reception class weekly update (11th October)

Hello

Another busy week under our belts. We had the artist, Faith, working with the children today, Friday. They went in to work with her in groups of three and helped to make a few figures for the larger piece of art work which will be centre stage at the exhibition. 

In maths we have worked on number to object correlation and counting carefully. 

Reading books came home as you know this week and their pot of sounds. Please make sure that the pot is in school everyday as I like to top these up during the week. The book folders must please be in school every Thursday. This is the day I will change the books. The rest of the time the folder may remain at home. I have topped up a few pots today and added the tricky words which we have learnt in class: I, the, no, go, to.

The exhibition will be on the 23rd and 24th and the Infants will be performing to parents at 3pm on both days. This will be on the junior playground. 

Today in buddy time I managed to get them all photographed so our buddy rockets can finally go up on the wall.
