Reception class weekly update 13th to 17th January

Hi all

So pleased the snow has gone as much fun as it was for the children not so much for us drivers. The sun and blue skies has been great for us and we have spent as much time as possible outside.

This week we learnt about the sense of hearing. We learnt about the parts of the ear and how the message gets sent to the brain.

In "My Happy Mind" today we heard the story of Charlie's Rainbow adventure and heard about how resilient he was and how kind and helpful the animals were to get him home (sheep, owl and mouse). The Superero strength focus was Kindness and Love.

In Maths we have been adding two numbers and recording our answers. Number formation is tricky!

In art they did mono-printing wich they loved doing. Nothing better than spreading paint all over the table and drawing with our fingers then taking a print of it . These are now in their art books.
