Friday 28 June 2019 - Looking Back and Forth in Reception
Sports Day is on Thursday 4th July in the afternoon at 1:30pm. Your child will need a plain T-shirt the same colour as the house they are in.
Pease encourage your child to do more cutting at home it would help them enormously.
Don’t forget to let us know about your children’s achievements/successes out of school. We love to hear about swimming and biking etc. successes… and house point for any writing done at home too.
Show and tell: Please encourage your child to prepare for show and tell. I always give house points for good presentations.
Looking Back
English: My Bus. We looked at traveling on a bus this week (thinking about our trip to Reaseheath) and each child got a blank but to decorate and then wrote a few sentences about their bus.
Maths: This week we concentrated on subtraction
PE: Dancing
Reception Children's highlights
Reaseheath visit today was super amazing. Writing about our bus and what we would have one it. Mrs Few a pilot came in on Thursday morning to talk to the class.
Looking forward
As part of transition into Year 1 next year we are sending small groups into Year 1 to work with Miss Cummins in writing and maths.
