Looking Back – what we have done this week

We learnt about root vegetables and with the children’s help with chopping the veg we made a large pot of soup which they enjoyed eating on Tuesday.

In literacy each child wrote a recount of the story, The Something, using the pictures to help them remember the sequence.

I showed them an episode of Aunty Mabel which you can find on YouTube. It was all about growing potatoes and how they make crisps. The link is: https://youtu.be/fuyyXLLIsvc

In maths we focussed on addition. Each morning we continue to write numbers to get these written correctly and the challenge is to see far they can go.

They enjoyed gymnastics on Tuesday afternoon with Miss Berry.

Looking forward to next week’s learning:

We will be learning about dinosaurs and making fossils.
