Reception Looking back and forth week beginging 21st September

This week in Reception class has once again been a busy one and doubly exciting with the whole class coming together on Thursday and Friday. Our learning has been based around the book Superworm and all the children drew and tried out doing some writing using intitial sounds and sounds they could hear in words. They had to draw Superworm doing something heroic! During the week they have also done: phonics sessions daily, leaf printing, decorated their hot air balloon which will go on display this week, they learnt a few more class rules, they got allocated carpet and table places, had PE in the village hall with me, took a walk to the woods and collected conkers and played and played some more!
