Reception news week ending 26 May 2023

Hello all

Well it looks like we have great half term weather ahead!

This week the highlight was of course the walk to post your letters. It was a great outing and the children were so well behaved. We left school at 9:30am and posted the letters in the post box at school's entrance. Then we headed to Mill Lane and on to grandma and grandpa Ashbrook's bungalow. Once there they had a fantastic play on the huge expanse of lawn and enjoyed rolling down the hills. Mrs Ashbrook provided a great tea party for us too. Then we headed back to school via The Bongs. They really enjoyed this part of the walk. 

We have been working on halving/sharing this week. Some childlren have got it straight away and others just cannot get the concept so we will continue working on this.
