reception week ending 26th January 2018

This week we have learnt about how the ear works. We acted it out and the children showed their buddies on Friday too. I have heard a little rumour that we may be called upon in Monday assembly to show the whole school.

We are looking ahead to Chinese New Year and we are in the process of learning songs for this and putting up an new wall display.

This week we have been focussing on Number and counting. We used dice to add numbers together and we are also learning to recognise that the dots resemble numbers.

There were a lot of ball skills going on this week and the children set up some throwing and rolling challenges for themselves outside.

We wrote about ourselves this week. The title was Me!
