Reception week ending 9th November 2018

This week we have learnt about Guy Faukes and the Gunpowder Plot. The children have writing one sentence about it in their books and drawn a picture. They are all using their phonic knowledge to sound out words.

In RE we have heard the Story of David and Goliath. (Let's hope they don't confuse Goliath with Guy!)

In maths we are looking at 2D shapes and addition.

They have all created a fireworks display picture.

PE: Dance with Miss Oakes on Tuesday afternoon. This was based around our celebrations theme.

In Music we learnt some bonfire night songs with Mrs Hext.
