Reception weekly update 2 February 24

Hello all

This week has been creative overload and they have had a lot of fun with lots of great ideas.

I hope that you are enjoying the marvellous models which they absolutely loved making.

There was a suggestion of making a unicorn world and we got the plasticine out and they blew us away with their creations. This led to tiger world too.

This week we are writing instructions on how to trap a wolf. They have responded well to the story of Little Red and come up with some cracking ways to trap a wolf. We will continue our writing next week.

In maths we explored weight and got the scales working overtime.

Today some of the children made orange juice. They spend most of the morning cutting, squeezing and mushing oranges. The smell in the class was super.

The children have brought home their wish list for the book fair. They had a good look around with their buddies today. Please see school emails for how you order.
