Reception weekly update 8 December 2023

Hello all

This week we have:

-learnt 3 D shape names and had a lovely play with all the shapes. The desert scene with pyramids and half circles of water was impressive.

-learnt oi, ear, ow and ur sounds

-done subtraction sums in our books

-practised letter formation and sang the alphabet song many times

The children said:

"We loved music with all the instruments". Today we have two new additions the triangles and the xylophones.

"The new reading corner is lovely". Yes indeed it is as Mrs Raven has created a spectacular snowy/frosty scene.

"We are cutting out our feet and hands" - not literally but their footprints and handprints.

"Playing with the buddies"
