Ask your children...

what they learned about life during 'The Blitz'.

how they add and multiply fractions.

what they learned in science about rusting.

This week the children will be undertaking some cross-curricular writing based on WWII. They will be imagining life as a child at the start of the war and during evacuation. In maths, we will be completing work on fractions before moving on to some angles work.

Wider Opportunities: The children are learning songs and music for the Bridgewater Hall concert; all music is available in the classroom. A letter is coming home on Monday (14th) giving you more information about the concert. I believe there are still parent tickets available - go to the Love Music Trust website for details.
