The children were wonderful at Burwardsley. Their behaviour was impeccable and they were a pleasure to take; but they were also so enthusiastic and threw themselves into all activities with such energy. They will undertake a little follow up work before we start our exhibition topics in earnest.

This week we will be starting our topic based on World War II. The children will produce a timeline of events between 1900 and 2018 and then study the reasons for the start of the conflict. In maths, children will be ordering, adding and subtracting decimals.  

Wider Opportunities: Children will be receiving permission letters for their Wider Opportunities instruments this week - exciting!
