Welcome back and welcome to Year 5! I hope you have all had a lovely summer.

Throughout the year I will post a weekly 'News Item' giving details about what we will be undertaking in class and other information about Wider Opportunities etc.

We have an exciting half-term ahead. Obviously we have our brilliant residential trip to Burwardsley in a couple of weeks so we will be doing a little bit of work in class in preparation for this. We will also begin a topic based on World War II and our exhibition display work will come from this topic.

Don't forget that our Start of Year Meeting will take place on the first day back - Wednesday 5th September, 5pm. I will provide information about the year ahead and also discuss Burwardsley.

I am really excited about the year ahead - it's going to be a wonderful year.
