I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and New Year. Many thanks for the Christmas cards and gifts I received, it really is much appreciated. I am looking forward to being back and beginning some of the interesting work we've got planned this term!

This week we will be undertaking literacy work based on some classic poetry; the children will be performing and writing their own poems in this style. In maths we will be working on negative numbers before moving on to area and perimeter. Our topic work this half term is based on Ancient Greece; we will begin by looking at a timeline of historical evens and where Ancient Greece fits into this.
