week ending 10th February

Another super week Year 2!

We have enjoyed writing as part of our work on Poles Apart. The children are learning how to write clear instructions and will continue with this next week - with a twist!

In maths the children have been challenging themselves to choose the correct calculation to solve a problem, deciding between addition, subtraction, multiplication or division.

We have worked on reading comprehension skills again, finding the answers to questions about a text.

In geography we used coordinates to find the missing items from the poles Apart books. We are also investigating how plants grow in science and keeping a diary of our experiment with bean seeds.

Everyone has worked hard and had fun learning. Have a good weekend.
