Week Ending 16th December Year 3

Thank you for another amazing week, Year 3.

We have all worked very hard this week, taking our quizzes in each subject and earning ourselves lots of marbles in the jar. Next week, normal lessons will resume for Monday and Tuesday, with Wednesday being dedicated mainly to the Carol Service, and Thursday bringing lots of Christmas cheer for the end of term.

In Maths next week we will be continuing with Time, looking at 5 minute, 15 minute and half an hour intervals on both an analogue clock and digital.

In English we will be continuing to look at the book "Coming Home" by Michael Morpurgo, exploring poetry and the way in which it is written, as well as thinking about how to write our own poetry!

Our spellings test will also be on Monday, with new spellingsbeing the only homework for over the Christmas holidays. These will be a selection of the spellings we have looked at so far to help us to retain our spellings learning.
