Week ending 19th May

We have had a great week. After working so hard to show how much they have learned in Year 2, the children enjoyed an afternoon of Golden Time as a reward.

On Friday we visited Quinta Forest School. The weather stayed settled and we all enjoyed a fantastic day experiencing activites in the woodland such as den building, toasting marshmallows, hide and seek, pond dipping, collecting forest flowers for a headband, naming insects and flowers they found and using clay to make art on the trees. All the children were a credit to themselves and to Goostrey Primary School. I was very proud of them. A big thank you to all the adults who helped make the day run smoothly.
