week ending 22 September

Another exciting week of many new experiences:

The children cleared the vegetable garden on Tuesday afternoon and on Wednesday morning we chopped all the vegetables for soup. Mrs Latham, our school cook, cooked it up for us and we got a super bowl of soup as a starter before lunch. We shared the rest with the school.

We had our first PE session with Mr Bentham and we learnt how to move safely around the hall. 

We continued to learn new sounds in phonic sessions.

We met and played with the Year 6 children on Friday afternoon.

The children did some bubble blowing for the exhibition.

Some children have spent a lot of time and effort raking leaves and filling every possible container to carry to the compost heap. The caretakers where most grateful.

There has been a lot of roleplay initatives and many of the children have dressed up.
