Week ending 2nd December

It was lovely to see so many people enjoying the Christmas Bazaar on Friday after school.

The children have enjoyed a busy week rehearsing for Lights, Camel, Action! Please help your child to learn their lines off by heart. To help with this, there will be no homework set this week.

We have also been writing a final recount in English about the Great Fire of London. The children have been keen to show what they know about this important event.

In maths we solved problems using multiplication arrays and had our first times table test.

In science we looked at the suitability of different materials and thought of reasons to use a plastic or a glass cup.

The children have worked extremely hard and shown excellent behaviour (as always) so the marble jar was full by Thursday. They enjoyed a DVD and chose colouring and Lego to play with during Golden Time on Friday afternoon.
