Looking back:
This week we have had a wonderful first week in Year 1!
We have looked at labels, lists and captions and shown our super counting skills throughout this week.
We have also painted our summer adventures and written labels and captions for our first display.
Year 1 – Pupils’ Highlights:
√ Movement and direction skills in PE.
√ Looking at our faces and drawing them.
√ Earning marbles towards our marble jar treat.
√ Painting pictures of holiday adventures.
√ Showing our counting skills in Maths.
√ Writing labels and captions in English

Looking forward:
Next week we will be using ‘Not a stick’ as inspiration for our writing in English and counting accurately in Maths.
