Friday 13th January 2023 – Looking Back & Forth in Year 2
Looking back:
We have had a great week together in Year 2. We have begun exploring our new story text – The Night Gardener. In maths we solved word problems, deciding whether it was addition or subtraction. In History we have started learning about the Great Fire of London in 1666. The children worked on science and music with Mrs Saxton and RE, plus French with Mrs Cuttle. We continue to read regularly and learn phonics every day.

- Reading books will be changed on Mondays. The reading folder is needed in school every day. Thank you.
