Y2 Looking Back and Forward 9.12.22
Friday 9th December 2022 – Looking Back & Forth in Year 2
Looking back:
On Thursday, we performed the production for the Junior classes and teachers. Everyone said it was wonderful and we hope the children will enjoy performing to you next week. Please keep learning the lines, saying them loudly and knowing when the lines come in the script.
In maths we have learned about multiplying using repeated addition and arrays. Phonics has focused on embedding the suffixes -ed and -ing for spelling. In history we have looked at Victorian houses and compared them to modern homes. The children were interested in how people entertained themselves without television! We have also been busy with geography, music, RE, French, PE, art and more.
The days are racing by and we will soon be at the end of our first term! Please have a look at the events coming up next week too.
