Y3 Looking back and forth 27.11.20

Friday 27th November 2020 – Looking Back & Forth in Year 3

Looking back:

We have worked hard this week to understand groups of and sharing and the difference between the two and in English, our fables are coming on well. Our artistic creations are in full flow whilst in History, we discovered more about Emily Jayne Cummins and her impact across the World. Touch Rugby with Mr T was great fun again and we loved learning how to pass properly. Science just gets better and better as we learned more about forces and magnets with Mrs Riddle and Mrs Cooper was impressed with how well we could create safe password in our E-Safety session again this week. In Music, we began to explore how music can describe things, especially animals which was great fun. So much again and so much more!

  • Working with Mr Campion for a little while!

Family discussion questions:

Ask your children…

  • What was different about the Inspirational Person of the Week?
  • What sustainable mean?
  • Challenge: Where in the UK is Glasgow?

Looking forward:

Next week in Class 3, we will of course be recording stars as we record our songs for the school CD. Alongside that very exciting moment, we will be completing our fable, continuing with Multiplication and Division in maths, writing our final piece about female inventors in History, moving onto finding out more about one of our local cities in Geography and in RE, we will be looking at the Bible and beginning to think about Advent.

Thank you for this week children and take care. I hope that you all have a lovely weekend,

Mrs Sant
