Y3 Looking Back and Forth 9/7/21
Friday 9th July 2021 – Looking Back & Forth in Year 3
Looking back:
What a spectacular finish to our English work this week! We have risen to the challenge of bringing together all of our learning from this year to make our final piece one to be proud of. I am very impressed and can really the fruits of all of our labours – congratulations Class Three! We have worked equally diligently on our end of year assessments too throughout this week and so far, we have made huge improvements which again make me so proud of everyone. We have had a great afternoon today, working on our final art piece of Tingatinga art and we are now ready and raring to go on our project week next week.
Year 3 – Pupils’ Highlights:
- Science – being a flower and learning about pollination
- Maths - angles
- Art – Tingatinga final pieces
- Writing our final pieces in English – what a triumph!
- Sports Afternoon with ice lollies and duck whistles – what a glorious sound!
- Completing our Geography leaflets on the laptops
- Sharing our inspirational people presentations
- Everything!!!

Looking forward:
Next week, we will be embarking on our Africa project week where, as you know, we will be designing and making smoothies, painting our final art pieces and improving our school environment by painting an African scene outside in Tingatinga style.
- Please not that PE will now be on a Tuesday and so PE kit will need to be worn on that day please.
