Y5 Weekly Update 28.3.25
Friday 28th March 2025 – Y5 Weekly Update
Looking back:
We’ve had a hardworking week in Year 5. In maths, the children have been learning how to draw and interpret line graphs. In science, we have been tying up a few loose ends of our materials topic, before moving on to a new topic after Easter. In RE, we explored how art is used in different religions. In geography, we concluded our Burwardsley topic and we had a go at drawing trees!
Year 5 – Pupils’ Highlights:
- We are looking forward to Burwardsley!
- It was interesting exploring different types of art in a variety of religions.
- We enjoyed learning how to draw a tree properly.
Family discussion questions:
- Can the children tell you some key strategies for reading a line graph?
- Can the children show you how to draw a tree?
Looking forward:
Don’t forget - Monday and Tuesday will be the last chance to buy a raffle ticket. We will be drawing the winner on Tuesday!
I have sent out some more information about Burwardsley, please let me know if you have any further queries.
Have a great weekend!
