Year 1 we 14th Oct
Hi All,
The Exhibition is fast approaching, only a week to go.
This week we are going to continue with our Literacy topic on the Tin Forest. We will be creating our forest flowers as well as sequencing and retelling the story.
In maths we will continue with our work on Counting and Place Value. We are looking at how to partition numbers into tens and units as well as practising our mental arithmetic skills.
In the afternoons…
In science we will be looking at the life cycle of a cow.
Our old toys work is being completed in preparation for the exhibition.
We will also have a session of football with Mr Capewell a P.E. teacher from Holmes Chapel high school.
