Friday 17th December 2021 – Looking Back & Forth in Year 2

Looking back:

This week we have been busy performing our Nativity for parents of each of the three classes. Each performance was fantastic and the children spoke, sang and behaved beautifully. It was wonderful!

Year 2 – Pupils’ Highlights:

• Nativity
• Showing off division knowledge
• Art
• Reading, especially to the reading teddies!
• French songs and Christmas activities

Family discussion/questions:  

• Can you remember how to say Happy Christmas in different languages?

Looking forward:

• Reading books will be changed on Monday. Please ensure your child has their pack with them every day.
• The Great Fire of London
• A new book to inspire our writing
• Reading comprehension
• Arithmetic

Homework in Year 2

As it is the Christmas holiday and the children have worked so hard this term, our homework is to enjoy family time.
