Year 2 1st February Looking Back and Forth
Friday 1st February 2018 – Looking Back & Forth in Year 2
Looking back:
This week the children have been reading and writing the time on an analogue clock and published their recounts about the Great Fire of London. They have discovered more about habitats and worked as scientists to decide if something is living, non-living or has never been alive. They have begun to use their music knowledge to decide how to tell the story of the Great Fire with instruments. In PE they have enjoyed gymnastics and using their bodies to make controlled movements.
Year 2 – Pupils’ Highlights:
- “Everything.”
- “I enjoyed maths because I am really good at fractions.”
- “Telling the time because I didn’t know how to do it before.”
