Year 2 5th October

This week we have been busy learning new methods of addition in maths. The homework this week is to practise - sheet sent home today along with spellings.

We have begun work on the Exhibition by looking at what life was like in WW1 and next week we will look at The Christmas Truce, thinking about the importance of peace and friendship.

The biggest highlight was filling the marble jar and having a whole afternoon of Golden Time. My favourite quote from the childrne was..."I didn't know it would be this good!"
