Friday 6th September 2019 – Looking Back & Forth in Year 2
Looking back:
Welcome back to school and to Year 2! We had a brilliant first week and I have been extremely proud of how well the children have settled back into routines. This week we have been getting to know the classroom, understanding the school rules, enjoying friendship groups and being kind to others. I have been impressed with the knowledge that the children have retained from last year.

- Welcome Meeting Tuesday 10th September at 6pm in Year 2. Please arrange childcare –the meeting will last about 30 minutes.
Homework in Year 2
Please listen to your child read for 15 minutes each day and talk about what they have read. Can they tell you what happened? Do they understand the meaning of new words? What was their favourite part?
English, maths and spelling homework will start next week.
