Year 2 Friday 1st March Looking Back and Forth
Friday 1st March 2019 – Looking Back & Forth in Year 2
Looking back:
The children have settled back into school after the half term holiday and we have enjoyed a brilliant first week back. We were able to work outdoors in Science, exploring habitats on our school fields and working as scientists to observe what we found – all helped by the unexpectedly warm weather. In maths the children measured length, weight and time and used their knowledge to solve problems. We were story detectives on Tuesday, finding clues to the title of our new book, Oliver and Patch. The children came up with ideas for the title after looking at all the clues – I think they were better than the author’s.

- “Finding out what the book was called.”
