Friday 4th March 2022 – Looking Back & Forth in Year 2
Looking back:
In English the children enjoyed discovering the new text we will be using. In maths we have explored money, time, shape and measure. Art sessions have involved creating a scene from the Fire of London using collage and oil pastels. They have enjoyed music, RE and French with Mrs Saxton and Mrs Cuttle. In Science we began a new topic all about our local environment and we will be exploring habitats, living things and food chains this term. PE with Premier Sport has been hockey.

Looking forward:
- Reading books will be changed on Monday. The reading folder is needed in school every day. Thank you.

Maths: Learning 2, 5 and 10 times tables using the sheet sent home. We have a quiz on Wednesdays. Please look in your child’s bag for a letter about TT Rockstars.
English: sheet about nouns, verbs and adjectives. Cut and stick or write words in the correct section.
