Friday 14th July 2023 – Looking Back & Forth in Year 2
Looking back:
We have had a busy week. The children enjoyed their visit to the Y3 classroom on Monday so this should help them with their move to the Junior building in September. Today we welcomed the Year 3 children to our classroom to help with making castles in design technology. It was a busy morning!
Year 2 – Pupils’ Highlights:
- Making a castle
- Problem solving in maths
- Visiting the Y3 classroom
- Showing all our knowledge about Castles in history
Family discussion/questions:
Discuss what your child has learned about castles.
Looking forward:
- Reading books will be retained in school on Monday so we can prepare for the year ahead. Please bring all books back into school.
- School finishes for the children next Thursday at 315pm
