Year 4 Looking Back and Forth 1st July

The end of another very busy week looking at wtiches, magicians and all sorts of book characters in English, shapes and data handling in maths and bees in science.  We also completed our mountain dioramas and carried on animating them again.  We also had the opportunity to hear the Year 5s playing their instruments which helped us to decide which instrument we might like to learn next year.

Next week we will continue with 'The Lost Happy Endings' - a wonderful book and we will be looking at more graphs in maths. Don't forget, it's Sports Day on Tuesday 1:15 on the school field, weather permitting.  Children should come to school in their PE kits (sun cream applied before school please) with a t-shirt in their house colour.  At the end of the event, parents may take their children home from their classrooms - the juniors will be going back over the road to collect their belongings before leaving if a parent is available.  If parents can't pick their children up, they will leave as usual at 3:25. Let's hope the weather is kind!

DON'T FORGET TO VOTE FOR OUR SHED!
