Year 4 Looking Back and Forth Friday 4th March
Friday 4th March – Looking Back & Forth in Year 4
Looking back: This week, children started to look at a new book in English. We looked at two pictures from the book. We studied the Brownstone family vault and made predictions about the artefacts inside. In maths, we started looking at fractions. In the afternoons, we studied the Viking Longboats. Looked at the Easter story in R.E. and begun the new topic on Teeth and Eating in science.

- If you bring a torch, make sure it has your name on it
- Bring a book to read at bedtime

- If you need to bring special food, please bring it in a cool bag and give to either Mrs Cooper or Mrs Cowell
- Mrs Fairhurst and Mrs Saxton are coming with us, remember to thank them as they are taking time away from their families to help us go on the trip. If they didn’t volunteer it would be very tricky to organise the trip
- We will be outside as much as possible so have a water proof coat just in case
- Gloves and a hat are good if you get cold
- Make sure your clothes are labelled and have a bag for dirty or wet clothes
- We will take photos so don’t worry about that
- Everyone will have worries about the trip – share them – ask us questions and we should be able to help
- Remember we are representing the school, so we will expect excellent behaviour (we would expect nothing less anyway from our BRILLIANT class)
