Year 4 we 12th October
Hi All,
Week 6 - Things are hotting up for the Exhibition now. This week will be lots of preparation for this exciting event. The children have been rehearsing for their performance. You should have received a letter regarding this on Friday (it was probably sandwiched between the homework).
Next week we will be continuing our work on biographies about people who have won the Nobel Peace Prize. As well as Malala the children are going to look other significant figures who have been awarded this prize. We may skirt past the more controversial figures as we want to focus on peace.
In maths, the children will be continuing our work on multiplication and division of larger numbers.
In the afternoons we will be completing our work on ‘Peaceful places’ this week, finishing our work on the countries on the Peace Global Index and our National Arboretum work. We will be continuing with our animations and preparing work for the Exhibition.
Thank you volunteers for helping on Friday and Monday. There will be some precision hot glue gunning required!
