Year 4 we 13th January

What a great start to the half term!  We really enjoyed finding out about the Vikings as part of our Exploration topic and the children also found some aspects of our digestive system particularly fascinating...

Next week we have several special lessons 'ISingPop' which you will already know about as a letter came home on Friday.  It should be a really interesting week!  I intend to go outside, if possible, to begin our PE lessons on invasion games on Monday.  We will be learning how to play Hi-5 (primary netball).  Please make sure your children have warm clothes for these lessons - I'm happy for them to wear gloves if they want to because the ball is quite hard, especially if your hands are cold. We will be beginning some work on fractions and will be doing some fantasy writing in English.

Get your voices warmed up,children, you're going to need them (for singing!).
