Year 4 we 15th June

Weren't we lucky with the weather for the French picnic on Friday?  We had spent quite a lot of time practising asking for food on Thursday and this was put to good use on Friday as children lined up at a buffet style lunch and asked for what they wanted.  We also managed to have another super game of rounders in the sunshine on Tuesday with some spectacular catches and rounders.

Next week begins with Bikeability - bikes and helmets please!  Half of the class will complete this in the morning and the other half in the afternoon.  The children who are left with me will be continuing their writing based on 'Oliver and the Seawigs' and looking at converting measures in maths.  Tuesday should be a 'normal' day but on Wednesday lots of children will be going to the Cheshire Show to perform with the band.  Things will then be back to normal for th end of the week.
