Year 4 we 22nd September
I can't believe I'm writing a news item again, seems like only yesterday that I wrote the last one.
We had another great week with some very special activities. In Tuesday, John Clayton who is a very talented artist, worked with the children to produce seascapes using water colours. I'm afraid you will have to wait until the Exhibition to see the fruits of our labours but I hope you will be suitably impressed with the children's work. Thank you very much to our class governor, Mrs Boardman for coming to help us! We also continued with our Batik work which I hope we will finish next week.
We did some exciting research about sea creatures then used this to write our non-chronological reports which we will be continuing next week. We also reached the end of the digestive system - literally! In maths we will be looking at different methods for addition and subtraction. Needless to say, these won't be our only lessons but I could go on forever detailing everything we have done and will be doing, Thursday afternoons are going swimmingly which is all I need to say about that.
Have a great week
Mrs Cooper
