Year 4 we 23rd June
What a week - again! We had fun with our friends from South Africa on Monday when we showed them how to use our interactive Lego sets - Mrs Saxton informs me that they really enjoyed that! We completed our assessments, we did some writing about Africa, we played cricket with Mr Capewell, some children went to the Cheshire Show and we ended the week with June evening and Rose Day! Next week we will be back to 'normal'. We are going to be doing some story writing based on a story from a different cultures and we are looking at area and perimeter in maths. Mrs Morgan will continue her lessons on sound while I take her class swimming and we will have Premier Sports on Friday morning as usual.
We may continue with our chairs on Thursday afternoon - I will talk to the children to see how they are progressing with these. Very many thanks to those adults who came in to help last Thursday - it was very much appreciated as I always need someone to keep an eye on the glue guns and saws.
Enjoy the week!
