Year 4 we 2nd Dec
Who would believe it's December already? I'm sure I've missed a month or two of this year, it's going so quickly.
Apart from swimming, the highlight of the week had to be the Christmas Bazaar! We still worked really hard all week though. We finished our work on 'The Egg' - the children wrote some really brilliant pieces - and we are now working on a non-chronological report about mountains to tie in with our work in Geography. We made Christmas cards for the local elderly people who may not receive many cards - Mrs Saxton organises this and will be delivering our cards soon. This put our computer and art skills to very good use. Next week we will be looking at both the grid method and the standard written method for multiplication. We will also be continuing our practical work on electricity - this is a popular topic.
The children have been given some lines to learn for the Carol service - this will be their English homework next week.
Have a great week!
Mrs Cooper
