Year 4 we 8th Dec

Another great week flew by!  The children have enjoyed their writing based on the book 'The Egg' and maths was challenging but fun - we looked at different methods for division then we learnt about negative numbers,  We spent an Christmas is almost upon us and I hope the children are learning their poetry parts - I won't give out any homework at the end of this week so that the children can concentrate on their poems in preparation for the Carol Service - always a highlight of my year as is the infant nativity.  We will be watching their dress rehearsal on Tuesday morning - can't wait!

Swimming will continue right until the end of term - lots of children can now swim 25m unaided which is a great achievement.
