Year 4 we 8th September

What a super start to the year!

The children behaved so well and worked so hard - I am already really proud of them.

We did lots of quick tests last week to see how much the children remembered - I was very impressed.

This week we will be beginning 'normal' lessons.  We are looking at non-chronological reports in English to tie in with our Exhibition work and we will look at basic maths concepts such as place value - absolutely vital.  In science we will begin our topic of animals including humans and we will be investigating the world's oceans in geography.  We will also be doing some art and computing work as well as music and RE.

Don't forget that we begin swimming again on Thursday until Christmas.

I hope to see lots of you at our September meeting on Tuesday at 6pm in the classroom.
